Please help me! I had a red 1989 Camaro RS that was being stored in a garage of a guy I thought was a friend. Turns out he was not. He sold the car, sold the engine to someone else, and moved to Colorado. I spoke to his landlord and she says that he bailed on her too and owes her money. He moved from that address June 10. The person who sold the car without the title was named Chris Robertson, he worked for Craig's Roustabout, a company from Utah that has a Williston office. he's about 6' tall or so, skinny, black curly hair, small goatee thing, and he had another Camaro in his garage just like the one he sold. He lived at 1432 8th St SW in Minot, this is where he sold the car and engine from. The car was originally a 6 cylinder 5 speed car. The engine well is painted black, and there are smallblock motor mounts in it. It has Cragar S/S rims with good rubber on the front and bald tires on the rear. We parted out an IROC-Z and a Z-28 for suspension parts and a few of those should be on there. The engine is a Gopher 350 block, painted red, with cast iron Dart SR heads, 2.02/1.60 valves, Lunati Bracketmaster 2 cam, roller rockers, flat tops bored 30 over, holey 650 carb, Edelbrock Torker 2 intake and a windage tray, tall valve covers, double roller timing chain, stock GM HEI distributor, its an 80's 350 with passenger side dipstick. It was a car I have had for 11 years, it was the car I was driving when I met my wife. Lots of sentimental value, my wife and I are both gearheads. It's been reported stolen. The vin of the car is 1G1FP21S0KL193567. There will be a reward for car or motor, and you obviously will not get in any trouble for coming forward.
