Registered Nurse II - North Dakota Developmental Center

Minimum Qualifications:

Requires licensure as a Registered Nurse by the North Dakota Board of Nursing or licensure in another state and meet the eligibility requirements for licensure in North Dakota and one year of work experience as a Registered Nurse. North Dakota licensure is a condition of employment and the employing agency will verify and document licensure upon appointment.

• The Department’s Human Resource Division staff will score applications against the minimum qualifications and preferences listed on the job announcement and qualifying military service.  After the scoring is completed, a certified list of eligible candidates and the applications will be forwarded to the hiring manager for further consideration and possible interview, based on the final scores.

Summary of Work:

Responsible for professional nursing within the Health Services Center which involves observation and care of acute and chronically ill clients.  This requires substantial nursing skill and knowledge, as well as appropriate application of nursing principles according to the nursing process.
