Minimum Qualifications:
Requires one of the following:
- Licensure as a Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist with prescriptive authority by the North Dakota Board of Nursing; OR
- Licensure as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority by the North Dakota Board of Nursing, or registration in another state and eligibility for advanced licensure in North Dakota.
Licensure is a condition of employment and the employing agency will verify and document licensure upon appointment. Strong computer skills are required. Applicants must successfully complete a standard background and criminal record check

Summary of Work:
Provide psychiatric and nursing services to clients with emotional disorders. Services may include evaluations, medication review, assessment of medication effect/side effects, administration of medications, consultation, education, supportive therapy, and crisis management. The successful applicant will provide direct services in collaboration with supervising psychiatrist. There may be various other duties commonly assigned to positions at this level and within the scope of practice for the successful applicant.
