Responsible for supervising, coordinating, promoting, and controlling cost of food and beverage operation in the lounge. Maintaining responsibility for the profitability of the lounge and managing the day-to-day lounge operation, maintaining established cost and quality standards so as to ensure superior customer service and maximize profits for the lounge as well as the hotel.
• Work with General Manager, Sales, Catering and Chef to develops specials and theme nights to increase revenue
• Ensure Lounge is staffed according to labor standards.
• Screens, hires and trains all lounge staff.
• Maintains standards of food and beverage quality and high guest service quality and satisfaction.
• Achieves budgeted revenues and expenses and maximizes profitability related to the Lounge.
• Contributes to the profitability and guest satisfaction perception of other hotel departments.
• Monitors the performance of the lounge through verification and analysis of customer satisfaction systems and financial reports. Initiates corrective action.
• Maintains product and service quality standards by conducting ongoing evaluations and investigating complaints. Initiates corrective action.
• Works with Human Resources on all disciplinary actions.
• Mixes ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks and serves wine, beer and cocktails.
• Orders and requisitions liquor and supplies.
• Rotates and stocks bottled goods and glasses to make an attractive and clean work area.
• Participates in the preparation of the annual Lounge budget.
• Increases level of guest satisfaction by delivery of an improved product through employee development, job engineering and quality image.
• Manages in compliance with established company policies and procedures.
• Manages in compliance with local, state and federal laws and regulations.
• Maintains procedures for security of monies and credit control and handling of financial transactions.
