2009 polaris 800 dragon. Sled has a pump gas silber turbo kit installed on it. Has had two trips to the mountains sense engine was rebuilt and turboed. (roughly 400 miles...new pistons, rings, and jugs). sled looks very professional and clean, an exceptional job was done with turbo instal. Sled has about 7000$ in extras on i will try and list
1. walker evans shocks all around,
2. trail tanks-15 gallon gast tank
3. modz powder skis
4.better boards snow eliminator running boards
5.lots of venting on hood and belly pan to allow for cooling,
6.turbo kit w/ a/f guage, boost psi, and turbo lube psi. gauges. uses a garrett 2860 turbo, has adjustable wastegate to regulate boost and quick dump valve, has intercooler with electric fan. Turbo is oil lubed and coolant cooled. Kit runs with an attitude industries fuel controller that works well.
7. team racing helix with stiffer primary and secondary springs
8. 2 sets of rooster adjustable weights
155" track white and black. I can email more pics if needed, pm or call for more info,Sled has about 1700 miles on it, 400 on the rebuild and turbo kit. Having a baby this spring and remodeling the house, just dont have time to ride any more like i used to. Hate to see it go but i gata part with a few toys....
I had the sled out to the mountains once, it ran very well around 10 psi boost. I was pulling around 45 mph track speeds on really long climbs. Should be able to reach 55mph easily with this sled, just need to get the clutching right. Have been talking to a few different people about possible setups. thought about trying boondockers clutch setup, or first trying the stock helix and spring to see what differance that makes. Also thought about gearing it down 2 cogs on top gear, this would allow it to pull harder on climbs but would loose top end speed.... possabilities are endless, but i just havent had the time to work with it, especially with no snow around here this year.
